Logging-on's 5000th subscriber receives Husqvarna hamper

Matome Lesailane, a South African forester, received his Husqvarna hamper in the town of Tzaneen.

Logging-on achieved its 5000th subscriber during October 2011. Matome was introduced to forestry in 2006 through a learnership programme offered by the South African company, Komatiland Forests (KLF). KLF sent him to complete a diploma in forestry at Saasveld in the town of George (part of the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University) in 2007. KLF’s good eye for talent was rewarded when Matome was elected to be the chairperson of the Student Representative Council. After completing his forestry diploma, he started working as a harvesting forester, managing clearfelling and thinning at KLF’s WoodBush plantation close to the beautiful area of Tzaneen. Matome enjoys forestry, and considers it “unique, challenging and operated within a sustainable environment”.

Matome is shown in the picture with his Husqvarna hamper, consisting of a Husqvarna sports bag, Husqvarna 3-in-1 jacket and a Husqvarna cap. He received his hamper at Star Spares, the Husqvarna dealership in Tzaneen. For more information on Husqvarna products, see www.husqvarna.com  and www.husqvarna.com/za .
