Case releases their next generation F-Series compact wheel loaders

New features include a more compact frame for stability, a Tier 4 Final solution and a restyled cab.

The loaders have a reduced overall height, width and length. This improves the kinematics of the machine and lowers the centre of gravity, which improves lifting power, breakout and stability while still offering a greater dump height than previous generations. The oscillating rear axle works independently of the cab for better operator comfort and load control. There is an optional limited-slip differential (21F and 121F) and differential lock (221F and 321F) for improved traction on loose or uneven terrain.

To reduce emissions, a particulate matter catalyst and diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) are used with a high-efficiency flow-through filter. There is no need for a diesel particulate filter (DPF) to replace and no new fluids have to be added. All four models have a tight turning radius for quick, easy navigation through stockyards and tight job sites. High-speed models are available for the 221F and the 321F, which can travel at speeds over 32 km/h (20 mph). A restyled cab provides more space for operator comfort. Large floor-to-ceiling windows provide good visibility around the machine. A fully adjustable suspension seat helps reduce fatigue. The joystick gives operators one-handed command of all loader functions (up to four functions) and functions such as float, two speed and differential lock. The digital display is easier to see information than previous generation loaders.

Productivity is improved by the use of Auto-Ride Control (which automatically engages at 3.5 km/hr or 2.2mph), creep speed (infinitely adjustable up to 3mph) and return-to-dig. The same skid steer type allows many attachments such as buckets, forks, grapples and brooms. The loaders have Connect Under Pressure (CUP) manifolds, which provides for easy, tool-free connecting and disconnecting of hydraulic lines. Also, the optional hydraulic coupler allows the operator to switch out many attachments from the comfort of the cab. Source: http://www.casece.com/en_us/Landing/Pages/cwl.aspx
