The larger capacity results in less waiting time for the biomass loading machine.
The hopper of the new SM 620 SA screen can now also be loaded by large wheel loaders. The large bulk volumes of biomass often results in long waiting times at the screens: With the Doppstadt solution, the wheel loader and the screen are in permanent motion: The whole process can take place continuously. The new machine can accept the entire load of a large wheeled loader at one time, which increases machine production considerably.
Doppstadt have still managed to keep the machine compact and mobile in spite of the larger feeding hopper and the 5,5 m conveyors. The SM620A weighs 24 tons gross vehicle weight, and can even transport optional equipment such as stonegrids or vibrating screens without having to detach them. Depending on the screening task the SM 620 SA can either be driven as a trommel screen or as a star screen for universal applicability: It can screen waste and raw materials, compost, earth, light debris, garbage, industrial waste, plastic, glass, paper, wood, biomass, sand, gravel, scrap or slag.
