In Logging-on’s first issue of September, we introduce the first new product from Komatsu Forests 2021 line-up of logging machines. The 845 is a 12-tonne thinning forwarder which has a new chassis, a new engine and a new control system. Cat has made updates to its legendary D9 bulldozers which result in demonstrated lower costs, improved fuel efficiency and reduced repair and maintenance expenditure. Liebherr has produced some very interesting solutions for harvesting trees in sensitive or very steep areas. John Deere has released an innovative grade control solution that can be used with their L-Series tractor loaders. Finally, we celebrate with Timber Forest of Brazil as they are selected the Ponsse retailer of 2019.
