In this first issue of November, Logging-on brings a number of new products that have been released onto the market. Tigercat has brought us a preview of their new 865 purpose-built Logger which can be used for high production loading and processing. Waratah has announced a new modified version of its HTH623C head specialised for loading and processing. The LP version allows for flexible and productive work on landings with space limitations. Ponsse has introduced new firefighting equipment for mounting in the load area of some of their forwarders. This allows for a powerful and terrain capable fire fighting machine. Malwa has released a new generation of their 560 wheeled carrier which can be used as a harvester, forwarder or combi machine. Finally, MAN’s new line of all-wheel drive trucks is well suited to the rigours of logging and other forestry applications.
